This project was for a newly purchased home from a family that want­ed it remodeled to reflect their lifestyle and update the preexisting structure from the 1970s to a more modern and contemporary look. I kept a majority of the floor plan and structural integrity the same and gutted the rest and focused on designing and lain out the new design specifically for this family's lifestyle. There were areas to entertain the parents with their more mature guests and also areas for the family. The two design schemes were related in materials and collar palates but varied in richness of color and softness of material.
